Tisha Davis
Tisha Davis is the owner of Image Special Events, LLC, a multimedia company, and Design Junkie Tees, a custom T-Shirt Design company. She possesses 35 years of professional experience within Corporate America and the non-profit sector. Tisha’s well-rounded career paved the way for her entry into entrepreneurship.
Through her first venture, Image Special Events, LLC, Tisha planned events such as gospel concerts, step shows, gala dinners, seminars, and album and book release tours, where she secured thousands of dollars in corporate sponsorships. Tisha also created and implemented concepts for education and women empowerment. She designs and develops marketing materials to include invitations, flyers, brochures, and the list goes on.
Tisha launched her custom T-shirt design company, Design Junkie Tees in 2018. This exclusive apparel company, for selected nonprofit organizations, has been featured on The Business interview/The Indikator DENT Damage TV, the Society of Women Business Owners Magazine, RNG Radio, B2YC Radio Show, Sunday Live with Dr. Robyn Joppy, Kandid Conversations Podcast and LAEDA’s Business Digest. She is a proud licensed vendor of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she has been a dedicated member for 38 years.
In, 2021, Tisha has gone full circle and expanded her offerings to include marketing and wellness consulting. She is in the planning stage of her newest venture, a monthly marketing subscription service targeted to African American women owned businesses. Tisha also teaches Canva (a design app) to business owners and motivates women, over 40, to get fit and live healthy lives.
With a zeal for education, Tisha attained a Master of Science degree in Nonprofit Management at Eastern University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Syracuse University and a host of Certifications for Leadership, Graphic Design, Entrepreneurship and EEO Investigative Training. She also completed the SCORE 2021 Minority Women's Entrepreneurship Program, hosted by the Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and SCORE Philadelphia (Tisha was one of the two winners of the pitch competition).
Tisha has a passion for singing, exercising, writing and graphic design work. She sang with the Concert Choir in Macedonia Baptist Church in New York City and the Disciples for Christ Choir in Bethany Baptist Church in Lindenwold, NJ for a total of 25 years.
She has one adult daughter, Soraya, and two granddaughters, Capri Nylah and Mila Giselle.
